Arquillian Drone Extension 2.1.2 Released

The Arquillian team is proud to announce the 2.1.2 release of the Arquillian Drone Extension component!

This release contains a very important fix for the automatic download feature – for cases when the geckodriver (firefox) is used.
GitHub provides a limited set of unauthorized requests (which is the way we get information about releases), and there were some corner-cases when it was quite easy to reach the limit.
This release provides improvements/fixes that should avoid such an exceedance also in these cases.

Arquillian Drone Extension 2.1.0 Released

The Arquillian team is proud to announce the 2.1.0 release of the Arquillian Drone Extension component!

The final release of Drone 2.1.0 is here!
As a part of this release, apart from several bug fixes, we bring you two significant changes:

Browser configuration is not case sensitive anymore

Now, it doesn’t matter if you use htmlUnit or htmlunit. For both cases, you get the same browser. This is applied for all browsers that are supported by Drone.

Support for configuration of WebClient options in HtmlUnitDriver

If you want to configure WebClient options in HtmlUnitDriver, then use the arquillian.xml property: htmlUnitWebClientOptions
The value of this property should be a semicolon separated list of webClientOptions. e.g.

<property name="htmlUnitWebClientOptions">
   timeout=10; throwExceptionOnScriptError=false; SSLClientProtocols=protocal1, protocal2
</property>

Arquillian Drone Extension 2.1.0.Beta1 Released

The Arquillian team is proud to announce the 2.1.0.Beta1 release of the Arquillian Drone Extension component!

In this first Beta release, we finally finished the automatic download feature of all binaries used in Drone. The reason is that the automatic download is now implemented also for PhantomJS binary which was the last one that hadn’t been covered.

Properties, directory names and support of latest versions

  • Property that intended to be used as a system property to define a path to a binary:
    phantomjs.binary.path
  • Property that is intended to be used as a property used in arquillian.xml file to define a path to a binary:
    phantomjsBinary
  • Is the resolution of the latest version supported? (if the latest version is resolved when no property is defined):
    YES
  • Arquillian.xml property to define version of the binary that should be downloaded/used:
    phantomjsBinaryVersion
  • Arquillian.xml property to define an URL the binary should be downloaded from:
    phantomjsBinaryUrl
  • Name of the sub-directory (withing $HOME/.arquillian/drone/) the binaries are cached in:
    phantomjs

For more information about the automatic download feature, read the documentation
